‘Casa Florio’ is a 2 bedroom apartment in a stone built former barn. One of 3 buildings forming an ancient 16th Century hilltop farmstead. Newly reconstructed and renovated with all mod cons. It is furnished to the highest standard with comfort and quality in mind. We want our guests to feel as if they are at home in their own retreat. Own delightful private garden with 2 terraces, BBQ and gazebo, furnished for al fresco dining whilst enjoying the lovely surrounding countryside and views.
Designed in traditional Tuscan country style with chestnut beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors. It is light and spacious with well equipped kitchen/lounge. Sofa converts to double bed. Doors lead to master bedroom with 4 poster king-size wrought iron bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 single wrought iron beds (can be made into 1 double). Fully equipped shower room with power shower, sink, bidet, toilet and washing machine.
The shared swimming pool has its own sunbathing terrace, lawns and gazebo with breathtaking views over the Tuscan countryside. The hillside breezes offer a refreshing respite from the heat – ideal after a day of sightseeing. (Places to visit: Pisa, Siena, Florence, Lucca, San Gimignano).
The apartment’s private garden has a brick built BBQ and patio area for al-fresco dining beneath a pergola, Walk through a rose covered arch to a separate area bordered with oak beams and enjoy a glass of Chianti whilst watching the breathtaking sunsets over the Tuscan landscape.
